We hope you have signed our list of supporters which we have left in various prominent places locally. If you would like to help us gather names, let us know and we can get a clipboard to you. We are now collecting statements of support from individuals, groups and businesses. So please send us a statement with your logo saying why you think this is a great project. Discussions between Sustrans, The National Park and landowners are in progress and we are looking forward to seeing the results of the feasibility study very soon. Watch out for us at Orbital Cycling Festival at Good wood in July.
We’ve recieved funding to carry out a feasibility study into our propsed track and its now underway. The feasibility stage involves the how phase of the tracks development – as well as exactly where. Sustrans the national cycling charity were chosen to carry out the study and along with the South Downs National Park they’ll be chatting to all local landowners on the route to get their input and feedback.
We’ll also be looking into what wildlife exists along the proposed route and how we can ensure to look after it properly; talking to the local community including schools and businesses; and sourcing funding for the creation of the track.
Watch out for our list of supporters which will be going live soon.
